F.A.Q
1) Can we attach the prosthesis with glue ?
Yes, these prostheses can be attached with a glue suitable for the skin. For the moment we are not offering these adhesive glues for sale, you can find them at some resellers. If you decide to use an adhesive glue, please take any allergies into consideration. To do this, first test the glue on a small portion of your skin and see how you react. Stop any use if you see signs of allergies and consult a healthcare doctor if signs of allergies continue. Be careful not to use medically unrecognized glues for an application on the body.
2) Is it normal to have small imperfections on the prosthesis ?
As prostheses are handmade and not in a mass production to the chain, it is possible that small air bubbles have been formed in silicone (although all precautions are taken to avoid them). For these reasons, these small imperfections cannot be considered as resulting from a defective product and are normal by considering that these prostheses are made handcrafted.
3) Does the coloring of the prosthesis correspond to 100% to the displayed image ?
As prostheses are made by hand, so they are unique in their colors. No prosthesis will be similar as two drops of water. The visual references of skins colors are given to be able to give you the fairest representation of your basic complexion. In the event that you choose to buy a Packer type prosthesis being already colored at the base, without adding a more successful coloring, then the images of the colors will be much more representative of reality. In the event that you choose to buy a prosthesis with more elaborate coloring, it will be made up of natural variations in colors (and this for all levels of carnations offered).
4) How to make the prosthesis more soft ?
It is customary to use talc powder to soften and make prosthesis material softer but the starch of MAïs is more recommended. This also allows him to give him a Matt and less shiny effect after rinsing.
5) What are the products to avoid with prostheses ?
Silicone products such as soaps, gel-shower, lubricants. Please monitor the words ending in -icone, -iconol, -phenyl threethicone, -dimethiconol, -cyclumethicone, -dimethicone, -siloxane. These products may damage the prosthesis and more particularly its coloring by their silicone presences.
6) how to take care of your prosthesis ?
Simply with soap and soap -free soap. Otherwise you have the possibility of sterilizing the prosthesis by boiling it for two minutes in hot water or cleaning it with alcohol at 70 °. Regular cleaning avoids the degradation of the prosthesis and all types of infections in general. To do this, it is the responsibility of the person to ensure that the prosthesis is regularly maintained.
are prostheses without danger for sexual activities ?
We cannot recommend our prostheses for sexual activities for legal reasons. We cannot certify their safety in case our prostheses are used for sexual activities. For prostheses including a flexible upper inside, it allows the erection function of the prosthesis. If sexual activities are carried out with prostheses, we cannot be held responsible for its use which can lead to possible damage and against our recommendations in terms of safety of use. We recommend using our prostheses by having knowledge of possible allergies linked to the materials used. Our prostheses are made with 100% medical silicone (Grade medical platinum silicone). This material is certified safely in contact with the skin, but we emphasize the need to read the materials used before using our prostheses. Our prostheses are sold as "artistic accessory prostheses" and not as medically recognized prostheses to relieve genital dysphoria for the moment. Do not use these prostheses for sexual purposes. If however, you use them for sexual purposes, please consider the use of condoms (to protect you from sexual infections as for all sexual intercourse) and/or lubricants only based on water (to avoid any inhibition of silicone with silicone that can damage the prosthesis and more particularly its painting).
8) How to use the stems and the pleasure pocket supplied with the Pack/Play Exophuria model ?
Silicone rod as well as the articulated rod can be lubricated to fit more simply into the prosthesis hole. The pleasure pocket, on the other hand, is placed after the stems to avoid direct contact between the body and the stems and bring more softness compared to the rigidity of the stems.
It is possible to return a prosthesis after reception ?
Yes it is possible to return it within 14 days corresponding to the right of withdrawal. However, if the sachet is open we cannot accept feedback for health and hygiene issues. Please make sure that the bag protecting the prosthesis is always under-old and sealed before sending us the product. In this case, we will make a refund or an exchange according to your needs.
The right of withdrawal cannot be exercised in this specific case according to article L221-28 of the Consumer Code "of the supply of goods which have been unicked by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or protection of health".
10) what to do if a tear appears on the prosthesis ?
You can send an email to: exoogen.contact@gmail.com ou exoogen.store@gmail.com, in this case a reinforcement kit can be sent to you free of charge without additional deliveries. A single reinforcement kit can be sent by client.e.s, if you want more it will be billed 20 euros per kit, plus deliveries. This kit includes part 1 and 2 to mix to apply to the injured area in order to clog the lesion.
11) Why can there be tears ?
In order to achieve a mimicing prosthesis as much as possible of the flesh, the silicone used for realistic models is not as rigid and realistically cannot be. The objective of our innovations is to improve this parameter in the future to find a compromise between realism and sustainability. Before shipment, a protective layer is applied to each realistic model to strengthen silicone but it may happen that this is not enough.
For the moment prostheses are not guaranteed for their sustainability and for the resistance of the painting. Please take this parameter into consideration before buying a realistic model.
For exogenous, exogenic, exogenic, oxy and electron models, the risk of having a tear is almost zero, these models are very resistant.
12) What includes the prices displayed ?
By its artisanal nature, prostheses are made in several stage from raw creation to moldings and coloring.
In the final price are included the following workforce:
- The swing/cutting of the edges (finishes)
- The cleaning of the prosthesis
- The unmolding time
- Painting therefore the various pigments used
- The working time of raw creation/ product development/ time of carrying out the shade
- Logistics: packaging, boxes, business cards
- Living transaction costs
- Use of disposable biodegradable wooden sticks for painting
- largely: the raw material -> silicone
- Entrepreneurial charges as an artisan
13) What is the time to manufacture prostheses ?
Each prosthesis is handmade and not in a chain factory. The realistic models requiring many design steps, the delay is therefore longer.
- For Exogenisis and Exolymp models the time is 1 working day of manufacturing.
- For realistic models type E01, exophoria, x01 The delay is 14 to 35 working days (between 2 to 6 weeks, excluding weekends) manufacturing in optimal situations*.
In the event of an exceptional context (high request, stock shortage in raw materials or other circumstances) delaying the deadline, you will be kept informed.e.s by state email if you have placed. The deadline may be led to a few days in these contexts. Do not hesitate to send an email if you want to know the progress of your order.
*Depending on the request and other exceptional circumstances, the deadlines may have to evolve and are updated regularly
